“Since I was 6 years old, music has been with me in my day to day. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Musical Arts oriented to Orchestral Conducting from the National University of Arts (Argentina) and a Technical Degree in Popular Music from the "Talento Humano" Arts Academy and "El Colectivo" Jazz Institute (Colombia). I have worked as Piano/Keyboard Player, Composer and Music Producer of many records in diverse musical genres and have more than 20 years of experience playing in different stages in America and Europe.”

Cristian Piedrahita is a Northern Italy-based Piano/Keyboard Player, Producer, Composer and Conductor described as a musician who “deftly balances virtuosity with tenderness.” He is known for his innovative use of keyboards and synthesizers in jazz, fusion, and latin styles of music.

When he was 17 years old, after moved to Buenos Aires, Argentina from his native Colombian hometown of Tuluá, he attended the National University of Arts (Argentina), obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree in Musical Arts oriented to Orchestral Conducting.

In his early twenties he participated in several masterclass given by different renowned maestros in the latin-american musical scene, and actively participated in different academic and popular music groups as a conductor and piano/keyboard player.

Shortly thereafter, he began touring extensively in Europe with his own Latin Jazz project “La Royal Tribu Party”, based in Malmö, Sweden.

Cristian also works closely as an Audio/Video Technician, Sound Designer and Content Creator for diverse projects.

Currently living in Bolzano (Italy), he is working in his last album release with his Latin Jazz Quartet, and actively participating in the local musical scene.
